A Gotal is a technologically advanced, intelligent humanoid species from the moon Antar Four. They have two conical horns on their heads, flat noses, and shaggy fur of grey, brown, or white. Their eyes may be yellow, orange, or scarlet, and they generally average around 1.8 meters in height.

Their head cones serve as highly responsive electromagentic sensors, and they can cause the Gotal great discomfort when exposed to complex electrical systems, like droids. Because of this sensory overload, Gotals dislike droids, but they are able to sense things with remarkable precision.

Most other species feel uncomfortable around Gotals because of their additional senses. For their part, Gotals have a hard time interpreting the emotions of other alien species, often mistaking affection for love and anger for hatred.

Gotals are often seen off-world. They make excellent scouts, bounty hunters, trackers, and mercenaries, though they tend to try to remain neutral in galactic conflicts.

The hunting and observational prowess of Gotal characters facilitates their success with picture, awareness, and diagnose. They are also able to glean a little more information about distant potential threats.
