Mercenaries can become so skilled with blasters that they can safely remove the safety features limiting the weapons' firing rates and release multiple shots in a short space of time. This generally causes the weapon in question to overheat and become unusable for a short time. The time before this occurs improves with the mercenary's level.
While a weapon's safeties are disengaged, it cannot be used at longer ranges, and less practiced mercenaries may fail to fire the weapon at all.
This skill can be used once every 60 seconds, and naturally requires a wielded blaster.
