Advanced slicers can run a recalibration program on most droids in an attempt to adjust the droid to new parts or repairs that it has recently acquired or undergone. The recalibration program effectively shuts the droid down briefly in order to reboot its systems. When the droid successfully reboots, whatever system shock it was previously dealing with will be alleviated. Droids can only undergo this process once every 10 minutes.
