Cloaking

Cloaking of ships is a level 17 pilot skill, though level 35 smugglers may cloak freighters.

Commands are (from inside the bridge shell):
cloak - to cloak the ship.
decloak - to become visible again.

An experimental device installed in some ships, usable only by high level pilots and smugglers. Due to the massive energy drain, being cloaked prevents your weapons from firing. Cloaking also disables your shields.
