Ranged Weapons commands

First things first...these toys are not toys, they are killing machines. A single shot from one of these babies, and your friend could be lying on the ground in front of you, dead. Though on the flip side, if you use it properly, it could be a Wampa on the floor, and not your friend. This would be helpful, since Wampas are known for being VERY unfriendly to anyone who happens to invade their privacy.

I'm sure you want to know how to use this thing, so here goes. This weapon is so easy to use, even a child could use it, almost. There are two basic functions. The first is aim and the second is, of course, fire. By using the first, you get a better chance of hitting with the second. The usage of both is the same:

aim (target name) (direction)
fire (target name) (direction)

The target name is any accepted name for your target, and the direction is any valid direction from which you can lpeer to see your target. If your target is in the same room as you, use 'here' as your direction.

To check and see how much ammo you have left, just type ammo. Be sure you don't run out, or you may be in big trouble. If you do run out, find a powertap and recharge.

You can also reload most blasters with ammo cartridges. Depending on the type of blaster, heavy ammo or light ammo may be required. You can check which type of ammo a blaster uses with ammotype.

Just aim and fire, or if you're running low on time, just fire and pray, aiming isn't mandatory. Your troubles may be over, or they may have just begun. Enjoy!!
