Smuggler Freighter Piloting

Smugglers of level 13 or higher can fly freighter-class ships. These ships include all freighters (naturally) and some shuttles that actually classify as freighters.

They also get access to the hyperspace skill.

If they are also a mercenary of level 3 or higher, then they can use the freighter's cockpit guns (bridge weapons) and turrets. If they are not also mercenary, then at level 15 they can use the cockpit guns (bridge weapons) only.

At level 17, they get access to ship security skills, including transponder and decrypt commands in your ship.
