Rodian racial skills: Detect and Surprise

Syntax: detect [player]

Rodians have the ability to detect other living things that are near them by smell, intuition, etc. This skill allows a player to detect the presence of another living thing in adjacent rooms.

To use the skill you need only type detect. If you succeed, you are told if any living creatures are nearby and in which direction. If you fail, you will detect no one near you.

Rodians may also detect (player) to try to detect if (player) is nearby.

Syntax: surprise (target)

Rodians use their natural abilities to surprise their enemies. When successful, the user gains a free attack on the victim. When failed, the opportunity for surprise is wasted.
