Vector Syntax: vector (x) (y) (z) Vector is just a 3-D vector like you'll see in all math and physics courses and texts. The vector you see when you scan gives a distance and x, y, z coordinates which corresponds to a unit vector in the direction on the ship, and a magnitude for the distance. We don't use a real unit vector here because nobody likes decimal places, so we use unit vector times 1000 instead. To point yourself at an object in space, simply vector to the x, y, z coordinates for it shown in scan. |
