Space Slug

Space slugs are colossal, wormlike creatures that live within asteroids. Their metabolisms allow them to survive in airless vacuums and subsist on minerals. These strange creatures grow to lengths as great as 900 meters. Like mynocks, space slugs are silicon based life forms. They prey upon mynocks, as well as on anything else moving around asteroids. Space slug flesh has a number of commercial uses, and some spacers make a living hunting them. Space slugs reproduce through fission, splitting into two seperate creatures.
