Assassin Droid

Assassin droids are intelligent killing machines. These automated weapons systems are programmed to hunt down specific targets and destroy them. Assassin droids have been illegal for several decades, but many of these deadly droids are covertly serving the Empire and criminal organizations.

Some are even free-roaming automatons who have broken free of their own programming or are still following orders give them in the distant past. These droids were originally designed to locate and eliminate escaped criminals or other outlaws for the Old Republic and were soon employed corruptly in the competitions of the decaying Senate. Ironically, it was the Emperor himself who banned the use of assassin droids with the rise of his New Order, because the droids were being used against his own forces.
