Data pad

A data pad is a palm-sized personal computer. It consists of a readout screen, input touch pad, data card slot, internal power source, and ports for coupling with droids or large computer terminals. It is used as a portable workstation, personal secretary, information organizer, data display, and storage unit by officers aboard capital ships, spaceport personnel, and anyone who needs to process, store, and retrieve information in this computer-dependant society.
