Glow rod

The general term "glow rod" refers to any device designed to provide a portable light source. Most are long, thin tubes that cast brilliant spheres of light through chemical phosphorescents. These rods are controlled by an activation-intensity switch. Other glow rods are power cells attached to lamp bulbs. Glow rods can be carried, clamped to clothing or equipment, or placed on a stable surface.
