Laser cannon

A laser cannon is a more powerful version of a blaster weapon. Usually ship- or vehicle-mounted, laser cannons shoot visible bolts of coherent light in rapid fire. They are prone to overheating and rely on internal cooling systems to keep them functioning throughout an extended battle.
