Nav computer

A nav computer is a specialized processing unit that calculates lightspeed jumps, plots hyperspace and realspace trajectories, and suggests routes based upon available time and energy fuel. Nav computers also display astrogation charts and work in conjunction with a ship's navigational sensors. These devices are sometimes called navicomputers.
