One of the galaxy's top arms manufacturers, BlasTech Industries is a market leader in the production of personal energy weapons and light artillery. BlasTech also manufactures an extensive line of starship weaponry, including laser and ion cannons and various types of missiles. During the Galactic Civil War, BlasTech refused to sign an exclusive sales agreement with the Empire, instead selling its products to any and all buyers. Many of its weapons reached Rebel forces.
