Cyberostasis

The condition called cyberostasis affects droids that have received a traumatic, external shock, have experienced an internal systems defect, or have induced the state as a function of a protective reflex system. In this state, all cybernetic functions within a droid are impaired or halted, usually resulting in shutdown.
