Ithor

Ithor is the fourth planet in the Ottega star system and home to the race called Ithorians, or Hammerheads. This lush, tropical world teems with plant and animal life. Some of the planet has been tamed by the Ithorians, but large regions remain wild and unexplored. Nature and technology co-exist on this world, and both work together to support the Ithorians' peaceful civilization based upon sound ecological principles.

Ithors live in great "herd" city ships which float above the surface of the world and migrate around the planet's three "civilized" continents. Each herd is a several level high, disk shaped repulsorlift complex that serves as a center of industry, commerce, and sculture.
