Jomark

The planet Jomark is the second of six worlds in the system of the same name and the only one capable of supporting life. The colony world has had little contact with the rest of the galaxy since its last star-chart update fifteen Standard years ago. The planet is mostly ocean, with one small continent called Kalish and thousands of small islands. The colonists came to Jomark during one of the Old Republic expansions a few thousand years ago. As with many of the colonies of the time, Jomark was forgotten. Its inhabitants slowly descended to a more primitive, superstitious state as power cells failed and knowledge was forgotten. The colonists (which is what they call themselves, though few know what the term means) live by fishing and sea farming. They have no interest in the events happening elsewhere in the galaxy.
