Golden Sun

Golden Sun is a living, communal intelligence made up of thousands of tiny polyps that inhabit the coral reefs of the planet Sedri. These coral dwellers have an affinity for the Force, though they refer to it as "the universal energy". Through the Force and the connection of thousands of minds, the Golden Sun produces a nearly limitless supply of energy. This energy is so intense that it effects the gravity readings of the planet, registering it as a small sun and causing hyperdrive safety cutoffs to activate. The native Sedrians of the planet worship the Golden Sun, and their Force-sensitive high priests actually hear the voices of the communal polyps as dreams and visions. Force users can detect thousands of minds in the Golden Sun, all connected in maddening, joyous communion.
