Ruurian

The insectoid species from the planet Ruuria, Ruurians are slightly longer than one meter. Bands of reddish brown decorate their wooly coats. Eight pairs of short limbs jut from their bodies, each limb ending in four digits. Feathery antennae emerge from a Ruurian's head, protruding from above multifaceted red eyes, a tiny mouth, and small nostrils. This alien species goes through three main life cycles: larva, chrysalis, and chroma-wing stages. With their great natural linguistic abilities, Ruurians often go into diplomatic and scholarly fields.
