Yaka

The Yakas are a species of near human cyborgs. When their home planet was invaded centuries ago by the superintelligent inhabitants of Arkania, a neighboring star system, the Arkanians forced the Yakas to undergo transforming surgery. They implanted cyborg brain enhancers in the Yakas, increasing the species' intelligence to genius level. Now the brutish looking Yakas are much smarter than they appear. One side effect of the implants is a twisted sense of humor, which all Yakas possess.
