Chariot LAV

The Chariot Light Assault Vehicle (LAV) is a modified military landspeeder used almost exclusively by Imperial forces. Chariots serve as command vehicles for officers during routine planet occupations and other assignments where heavy combat is not expected. These vehicles are more heavily armored than a normal landspeeder, but they are slower and carry less weaponry than combat landspeeders. These command speeders feature battle assistance computers that provide hologramic schematics and constant situational updates to the officers on board. With dedicated sensor and communications arrays, they can coordinate the activities of more than a dozen combat units. Combat speeders carry carry three crew members: the unit's commander, a driver, and a bodyguard/gunner.
