Bulk freighter

Bulk freighters haul the vast majority of cargo throughout the galaxy. While there are plenty of different models, all bulk freighters are basically boxes with hyperdrive engines. These vessels are small to mid-sized, which allows their owners to keep fuel costs down and gives them access to almost all space docks and ports. Most of these craft have little or no armament, depending on the protection of well traveled space lanes and the ships that patrol them. While some large companies have their own fleets of freighters, most bulk freighters are owned by individuals.
