Mon Calamari star cruiser

Each Mon Calamari star cruiser is handcrafted by dedicated technicians and engineers. These capital ships are treated as works of art, not simply as weapons of war. In fact, they were originally spaceliners that were converted to combat cruisers when the Mon Calamari joined the Alliance. One of the first models to be converted was the MC80, a 1200 meter long cylindrical ship covered with pods, bulges, and bumps arranged in a seemingly haphazard fashion. Mon Calamari ships look more organic than technological, but they are considered to be among the finest vessels traveling the space lanes. These vessels are built with many redundant systems, making them difficult to service but extremely reliable in combat situations.
