Traps
Bounty Hunters of level 15 and up may utilize traps to aid them in hunting down their prey. Traps come in all shapes and sizes, with varying functionality: some will harm victims, and some will just detain them.
A hunter can deploy up to 3 traps against a marked target. Upon triggering a trap, the hunter gains 10 stacks against a mark, and the trap is placed on a 60 second cooldown before it can be retriggered. For an HM Bounty Hunter, a triggered trap emits a destabilizing aura against the mark, until they leave the room.
Lastly, the rules above do not apply to the Mantrap variety of trap. Only one of these traps can be placed. It is one-time-use, and there is a long cooldown before another Mantrap can be placed. Also, the Mantrap variety of traps have been outfitted with a battery that will actually recharge itself when encountering temporal distortion, so those players who might be 'Unlucky' enough to lose link while trapped may find themselves enjoying an extra-long stay in the trap.
