A Jedi's telekinetic abilities actually consist of multiple commands: Lift [neutral] Syntax: lift (object) from (place) to (place) This ability allows a Jedi to move objects in the area telekinetically. Object can be any non-living object. Place can be me (the player), here (the room the player is in), or a direction name (the room in that direction). HM Jedi of level 30+ have a greater affinity in the Force that enhances their telekinesis (i.e. they can lift heavier objects). Optional failure messages may be enabled with lift messages on and disabled with lift messages off. Optional failure messages are off by default. The current status may be viewed through toggles. Syntax: choke (living) Allows a dark Jedi to use his/her powers of telekinesis to choke someone. If you are in combat you don't need an argument to attack your opponent, otherwise, the argument named is the target. HM Jedi of level 21+ can additionally stun their primary opponent momentarily. * Light Jedi can attempt to use this skill, but its use draws the Jedi closer to the Dark side of the Force. Syntax: throw (object) from (place1) to (place2) This ability allows a Jedi to throw objects in the area telekinetically. Object can be any non-living object. Place1 can be me (the player), here (the room the player is in), or a direction name (the room in that direction). Place2 can be here (the room the player is in, a direction name (the room in that direction), or a target's name (a monster in the same room as the player). The damage done depends on the weight of the object. HM Jedi of level 30+ have a greater affinity in the Force that enhances their telekinesis (i.e. they can throw heavier objects). * Light Jedi can attempt to use this skill, but its use draws the Jedi closer to the Dark side of the Force. Syntax: fpush <direction> This ability allowes a Light Jedi to use this skill to force attackers and other potentially hostile creatures away in <direction>. The creatures thus forced away will then return a few seconds later, giving the Jedi a chance to escape. Dark Jedi will not have the same likelihood of success if attempting this skill. Please note that some monsters - those that cannot be intimidated or otherwise forced to leave their locations - will not be moved by this skill. Also note that some conditions will block monsters from being pushed out of a room, such as conditional checks at a guard post. * Dark Jedi can attempt to use this skill, but its use draws the Jedi closer to the Light side of the Force. |
