DNA Manipulation

Syntax: manipulate [virus | retrovirus] from sample

This skill allows High Mortal scientists of at least level 45 to create either a virus or a retrovirus from a DNA sample. In order to create either, you must have an empty syringe that you can use to collect sample from corpse. The syringe will then be filled with genetic material you can use to create a virus or retrovirus specific to the race of the corpse.

Viruses have many negative effects on those unfortunate enough to have caught one, while retroviruses can be used to heal and negate the effects of a virus. If you cannot find a retrovirus, then you will be forced to let your disease run its course. For your own safety, you are prohibited from quitting out when you have a virus. You won't like the results.
