Orbit dock

Orbit docks spin in space above planets, providing landing and maintenance facilities and other services to spacers and their ships. Some docks are equipped to handle large capital ships with connecting boarding tubes. Others have landing bays for small freighters. A few can even administer to the needs of gigantic container ships that ply the space lanes. Large orbit docks have multiple docking facilites and operate like small space stations. With one or two capital-ship dry docks, hangar bays, and multiple docking tubes, these facilities can cater to vehicles ranging in size from light freighters to large capital ships. These multidocks are usually constructed around multiple level entertainment areas. Services often include motel cubes, space stop cafes and cantinas, holovid and live entertainment, and even dock markets.
